Pour approximately 200ml of PVA glue in a bowl (you may need more glue depending on how much slime you want to make).
Mix the water into the glue. The more water you add, the more slime-like the results will be.
Slowly mix in your preferred activator (washing detergent or contact lens solution), teaspoon at a time. As you mix it you will see the glue mixture start to thicken and become more slime.
Be careful of how much of the activator you use as the more activator you add to the glue mixture it stops being liquid and becomes more like putty.
Colouring your slime:
- Food colouring: food colouring can be added before or after mixing in the water to add colour to the slime. Acrylic or poster paint can also be used to change the colour.
- Glitter is great for adding bling to slime. This can be added at the same time as the colouring, or at the end and folded into the slime.
For Textured Slime:
- Shaving Foam: can be added to the slime to make the slime fluffy and full
- Foam Beads: poly-foam beads are great for adding texture to slime. These can be folded into the slime at the end or before adding the activator.
